An Immersive Journey Across Bulgaria
The “First Time Bulgaria Tour” offers an enriching experience that takes you on a breathtaking adventure from North to South. Along the way, enjoy jaw-dropping landscapes, authentic local food, and discover Bulgaria’s deep-rooted traditions.
Arrival and accommodation in Sofia. We’ll take a delightful stroll to discover Sofia’s landmarks and vibrant nightlife.
The next stop on our journey is Beklemeto, in the Old mountain, where we enjoy a great view, food and relaxation in the hotel. If desired, take a walk to the goat trail along the edge of the mountain or trekking to the hut nearby, and then go back to the hotel.
We are leaving for the heart of Northern Bulgaria – Veliko Tarnovo, the historic capital, and the light show of the fortress, where we enjoy the meanders of the Yantra River from above. Visiting town of Travnya and the Etara ethno complex, we learn about traditional crafts dating back 150 years.
As we head south, we’ll encounter a Rose valley and Thracian tomb – a recharging and energetic destination.
Visit the marvel at a Russian church, and abandoned monument Buzlidza, where we indulge in silence.
Immerse ourselves in Plovdiv’s rich historical ambiance. We taste Bulgarian beer and have fun with the locals.
We will participate in monastery rituals at the Bachkovo monastery, and snap photos of the Assen’s fortress.
