Active holiday in the mountain and at the sea
We will travel entirely in southern Bulgaria, which reveals its Mediteranean climate, especially warm in the summer months.
The tour begins with a tour of the sights and city life of Sofia, after which we head to the foot of the Central Old mountain, from where we will hike incredible Heaven’s waterfall. (optional activity). To those of you who add this activity, we offer an overnight stay in a tent with a transparent roof overlooking the stars and the night sky.
We deservedly indulge in a 3-day vacation on the southern Black Sea coast, in Sozopol – one of the most popular tourist destination on the Black Sea. Archaeological studies prove more than 7 millennia of cultural tradition. The first settlements in the Sozopol Bay arose in the Neolithic era at the end of the 6th millennium BC. We highly recommend scuba diving there as an option.
Not far to the south is the Ropotamo reserve, covering the mouth of the river Ropotamo and observation of interesting species of birds and plants. Heading to the South, we offer you a boat trip off to Sinemoretz (optional).
The end the tour is in Plovdiv, where we enjoy the Roman amphitheater and the unique atmosphere that the second largest city in Bulgaria offers. Immerse ourselves in Plovdiv’s rich historical ambiance. We taste Bulgarian craft beer and have fun with the locals. On the last day of the summer tour, we will participate in monastery rituals at the Bachkovo monastery, and snap photos of the Assen’s fortress. We cook local dishes and feasts.
